Yesterday, former Ravens cornerback Jerruad Powers announced his retirement via Instagram. Powers, now 29, signed with the Baltimore Ravens in free agency last year. The Ravens needed veteran help at cornerback, and Powers helped to provide it. In 2016, Powers caped his final season off with 33 total tackles, 7 assists, one sack, and two interceptions. In his career, Powers played for the Colts from 2009 to 2012, for the Cardinals from 2013 to 2015, and for the Ravens one year in 2016.
