On Saturday, the Baltimore Ravens announced via social media, that the team added defensive tackle, Elijah Qualls to the roster. Qualls is a former sixth-round pick but has had little impact on the NFL so far. Qualls was drafted by the Eagles in 2017, where he won a Super Bowl but was waived after his rookie season. Qualls spent the 2018 season on the Panthers practice squad. He participated in Carolina’s offseason program but was cut in July.
The Ravens had an open roster spot after trading offensive guard, Alex Lewis, to the New York Jets. Qualls played for the Washington Huskies of the PAC-12 in college.
